Programmes at the online school AP School
Middle school
The games grow more challenging and move to a new level. We develop communication skills and run lessons on media and financial literacy. We gradually go deeper into the core subjects: from maths to algebra and geometry, from I Explore the World to geography and physics.
High school
The game format grows into a practical one and there's more information. We carry out research, present projects, take career-guidance tests and reveal the student's personality in greater depth. It's at school — not with tutors — that we begin online preparation for exams in Ukrainian, maths, English and other subjects.
NMT preparation
We take demo tests, review examples from previous years and create simulations of real tests in class. We also revise the material from every grade.

What children study at the online school AP School
Middle grades (5–9)
Standard subjects: Ukrainian language and literature, foreign languages, world literature, history of Ukraine, world history, basics of law, computer science, biology, geography, physics, chemistry, technology, art, health basics, physical education.
Integrated subjects: Debate Club, Mini-Entrepreneurship and others.
We teach professional communication and give a "diplomatic" foundation of soft skills. We develop financial literacy — exploring how the economy and investing work, how to run a family budget and grow personal capital.
Senior grades (10–11)
Standard compulsory subjects: Ukrainian language, literature, history of Ukraine, a foreign language, maths, physical education and Defence of Ukraine. Plus elective specialist subjects — technical or humanities.
Integrated subjects: Global Media, Social Innovation and others.
Our role at this stage is to give a universal foundation of knowledge that a student will need whatever profession they choose. We teach them to analyse information and to think critically, in a structured and logical way.
What the learning process includes: lessons, materials and assessment
For every school day, a student receives:
- Video lessons with the teacher's explanations for each subject
- Structured notes for revision and preparation
- Interactive tests with an explanation for each answer — so you understand exactly where the mistake was
- Written homework checked by teachers — with 7 days to complete it from the day the lesson is published
- Access to a chat with the teacher for follow-up questions
Each lesson is built like a short "episode" — with an explanation of the topic, examples and a summary. The curricula follow the Ministry of Education's requirements, so what you learn at AP School matches what's tested in official assessments.
Schedule, pace and a typical school day
Each lesson lasts 35–40 minutes — enough to grasp the topic, but not so long that the child's attention wears out. Here's an example of a typical school day for a middle-school student:

Licence, official status and the document you receive on completion
AP School operates as a licensed educational institution. The studies count as full school education within Ukraine's legal framework — a student is officially enrolled at the institution, not simply taking a course on a private platform.
A basic secondary-education certificate
On completing grade 9, a student receives a basic secondary-education certificate.
A dual complete-secondary-education certificate
After grade 11 — a dual certificate of complete secondary education: Ukrainian-American, Ukrainian-Canadian, Ukrainian-German or Ukrainian-Polish. Both documents are recognised for university admission and other official purposes. Students also receive a report card each year.
